Turn biological change into operational insight.
See what is changing, understand how it develops and compare patterns across sites and over time.
AquaLens sees. AquaMind understands.
Site · Lofoten 04
Algae activity increasing
Change detected
What changed
3.2x above normal site baseline
Development
Increasing over the last six hours
Context
Different from the site's normal seasonal pattern
Suggested follow-up
Review local conditions and consider targeted sampling.
What you can do
Detect, compare, investigate, document, learn
Detect
See when observations move away from the site's normal picture.
Compare
Set current conditions against the site's own baseline and other locations.
Investigate
Follow how a change developed, and what the water looked like before it.
Document
Keep a continuous record of conditions before, during and after an event.
Learn
Carry insight from one season, cycle or site into the next.
The core flow
Observe. Detect change. Understand. Respond.
Observe
Continuous microscopic observations from the water, day and night.
Detect change
Identify organisms, particles, patterns and deviations from the normal picture.
Understand
Compare observations with historical and site-specific context.
Respond
Support investigation and better-informed operational follow-up.
AquaMind
From observation to understanding.
AquaMind is where observations become something a team can act on. It shows what changed, how it developed and how it compares with the site's own history, then points to sensible next steps.

What changed
3.2x above normal site baseline
Development
Increasing over the last six hours
Context
Different from the site's normal seasonal pattern
Suggested follow-up
Review local conditions and consider targeted sampling.
Change detected
A clear signal when the microscopic picture starts to shift.
Trend
Development over hours and days instead of one reading.
Historical context
Comparison with previous weeks, seasons and earlier events.
Baseline comparison
Distance from the site's own established normal.
Cross-site comparison
Whether other locations show a similar development.
Suggested follow-up
Where to review conditions or consider targeted sampling.
Automated suggestions are never instructions. Wording is deliberately kept to review, consider and investigate, so the decision stays with the people running the operation.
In action
Continuous observation, as it happens
AquaLens
The observation product family
AquaLens is the underwater imaging side of the system. It observes what is happening in the water continuously, and feeds those observations to AquaMind.
AquaLens Phyto & Particle
Continuous observation of phytoplankton, microalgae and particle patterns.
AquaLens Zoo
Continuous observation of zooplankton and other relevant microscopic organisms.
AquaMind
Dashboard, analytics, trends and operational context.

Hardware, in brief
Built to stay in the water
The instrument matters less than what it lets you see, but it has to survive the site. AquaLens is engineered for long-term deployment at sea-cage and intake depths.
Marine-grade housing
Anodised aluminium and white polymer construction for long-term submersion.
Integrated optics
Sealed optical chamber with controlled illumination for in-situ imaging of plankton, algae and particles.
Flexible mooring
Three-point cable suspension and lower mounting plate for cage rims, frames or intake structures.
Honest framing
Continuous insight between samples.
Laboratory analysis provides depth and confirmation. FP AQUA adds continuity by helping teams understand how biological conditions develop between sampling events.
Selected capabilities remain under validation with our pilot partners, including baseline modelling, cross-site comparison and change indicators. We are open about what is established and what we are still learning.
